Coriander and orange peel very prominent in the aroma. Very refreshing taste, none of the spices are overwhelming, but work very nicely together. Light body, finishes very dry and crisp. This is a great summer time beer in Florida. GaltScat (195), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 3, 2008 The sediments on the bottom got me all excited. Pours a cloudy gold with a tall white head. Nose is fruity (melon and lemon) and yeasty with lots of wheat and light spice. There is some very light cardamom, coriander, and clove. Taste is wheat, grains, light spice (coriander and cardamom), and a bit of citrus. There’s an obvious Belgian yeast flavor throughout this. Body is light and refreshing. A thirst quencher even in January. Finishes with more grains, light spices, light lemon, and yeast. A really nice witbier, nonetheless. puggy211 (584), cordova, Tennessee, USA

On tap at the Flying Saucer, Houston, Texas. I am very fond of witbiers. This thing stank to high heaven of yeast and wheat. A smell I refer to as "monk basement". Awesome. Almost clear it was so light yellow. Big poofy head. Taste is an explosion of wheat with a nice hop bite, but the palate finishes oh-so-clean. Thank you, Avery. Thank you. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2008 From bottle into a tumbler. Pours a cloudy yellow like a white should. Smells citrusey with some spice. Taste has a bit of a bite and is light bodied. Smooth beer but light on the alcohol and follow though. Taste disappears quickly. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2008 This blonde ale poured with a foamy white head, eliciting a spicy aroma. The flavor is typical of a Belgian-style witbier, with coriander and orange peel over a wheat base. Very refreshing and drinkable. blutt59 (2092), Dallas, Texas, USA
