aenimopiate (142), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA Jan 5, 2008 I like the foggy look of the beer. The aroma is a pleasing mix of light fruits and yeast(imagine that). The taste and palate are both quite good, as this beer offers a delicious mix of fruits that please the mouth. djd07 (721), Houston, Texas, USA Jan 5, 2008 Updated: Dec 2, 2008On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a hazy yellow lemon color with a medium white head. The aroma is oranges and citrus. Good lacing on the glass. The taste was a bit too much citrus for me. A good belgian if you like sour and citrus. cstuartj (305), Washington, USA Jan 4, 2008 pours a cloudy pale white with a thick white head that has a good staying power. Laces well. nose is subtle but spicy and distinctly Belgian. Attack is light and spicy very delicate with citrus and sweet notes. finishes slow and well. a bit too light and ’thin’ to rate higher for me. WesKBob (317), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Jan 1, 2008 Updated: Apr 15, 2008Thick, lasting head on top of a good creamy-yellow colored beer. Noticeable aromas of yeast and citrus. Palate could be smoother, as White Rascal seems to be more carbonated and thinner than most witbiers. More citrus flavors than a traditional beer of this style, but certainly not overpowering. Slightly sour aftertaste. A good effort with room for improvement. markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Jan 1, 2008 This is a good Belgian-style beer. It has a good deal of orange peel and coriander in the aroma. Wheat flavor is balanced by citrus flavor. Good drinking beer. fakepurseninja (772), Washington, USA Dec 27, 2007 Really enjoyable wheat ale - lots of bubblegum and banana with the strong sour backbone. Smooth wheat malt base that perfectly complimented with the orange peel and corriander. Very nice drink.. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Dec 24, 2007 12oz. bottle . Pours a pale yellow with a very thin white head of moderately sized bubbles. Smells like a Belgian. Yeasty with lots of malt with a slight hint of citrus. Tastes like a belgian but more crisp. Bitter up front with lots of malt and smooth and sweet on the finish. Palate is fizzy. Almost makes the mouth pucker at first and very smooth down the gullet. Very drinkable brew and catchy because its a white belgian. grant (792), Long Beach, CA/Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Dec 3, 2007 Light, hazy lemony yellow with mild head formation. Light moldering vegetation yeastiness, suggestion of citrus and honey in aroma. Flavor is much more orangey, very smooth and polished. Striated wheaty backbone. Assertive carbonation, moderately dry, quickly clearing finish. The yeast doesn’t work quite right, but this is pretty good nonetheless.
