chimpscampee (556), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 10, 2007 Updated: Jul 7, 2007Unfiltered and cloudy but no settlement in my bottle. This Belgian style wheat or "white" ale claims to be cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel and I must agree. All Avery brew seem marveolously balanced. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 9, 2007 Updated: Jul 12, 2007Bottle. Classic cloudy, pale piss color. Small, lasting head with a little lace. Clean coriander-citrus, yeast, and bubblegum aroma. Flavor is similar, but with more peppery hops and bitter orange peel than expected. As a result, this one seems less sweet than I normally prefer in a wit, but it seems to work well in this beer. Palate is dry and smooth, with good hop and carbonation-tingle, refreshing and light-bodied. Maverick34 (686), New York, USA Jun 6, 2007 Draft, pours and looks wit. Some spice and lots of carbonation. Not too bad, not too great either. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Jun 4, 2007 Draft at Down Town Johnny Brown’s. Expected wit appearance. Cirtrus and some spice on the aromas. More so on the flavor. Pretty good, refreshing, less of the wheat twang I dislike in this style. MI2CA (1260), Noblesville, Indiana, USA May 30, 2007 12oz - Aroma is bready yeast, coriander and lemon. Pours pale yellow with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma focusing on the yeast which is pretty bland. Palate is kinda sticky. Pretty boring white. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA May 26, 2007 Bottle. Pours cloudy lemonade, white head. Aroma is yeast, banana, clove, coriander, sausage, nutmeg. Flavor is banana, bubble gum, clove, wheat, yeast, a little on the watery side. smartlung (154), Valrico, Florida, USA May 24, 2007 bottle from Top Shelf Liquors, Valrico - yellow and small head, yeast, coriander, fermented orange peel - a little dry - had better whites but not bad Soonah (900), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA May 23, 2007 Poured a dull, hazy gold color with a one-finger tall white head that subsided slowly and left average lacing. The aroma was spicy and bready with a bit of citrus. The flavor was a decent mix of citrus, spice and some wheat. Nice dry finish, didn’t linger.
