Hints of banana and clove in the noise. Moderately spicy palate with a sharp carbonated bite. Relatively interesting profile with notes of fruit and spice. Good hot weather brew. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 18, 2007 12 oz bottle via Arctic Liquors Beer Club. It pours a hazy golden blonde with a large quickly receding white head. Nose is spicy pepper, clovers, and butter. Tastes just like it smells with some lemon and a touch of honey. This is better than expected as i typically do not expect much from this brewery, but this is not bad. Light/medium body, high carbonation as is typical of the style. This is an average beer for the style. kimcgolf (828), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2007 This was a very pleasant beer, and I’m not a big fan of wheats. Poured to a hazy lemonade color with medium white head that lingered well through the glass and left good lacing. Aroma was faint, but the presence of dough and spices was present. Mouthfeel was tingly, and the flavor was very prominently coriander and clove spices, all leading to a thirst-quenching finish.
My only complaint with this was that I was drinking it on a Spring inside a restaurant. I think this would be much better served cold outside on a hot summer’s day. I’ll have to plan on that. csbosox (1079), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Updated: May 1, 200712oz, served in my Duvel tulip. Nice wit spice aroma and some nice yeasty aromas too. Hazy gold with a small, but persistent, white head, maybe due to the coldness of the beer and a proper haze. Taste is wheat, coriander, curacao, yeast, vanilla, hay. There is also a nice tart/sour note and a lingering yeast flavor. Great summer beer and a nice example of the style. bitbucket (2030), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a lacy white head. Citrus, wheat and spice nose. Light body and powerful carbonation. Taste of wheat, orange and grass. Dry citrus and spice finish. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2007 Pours a hazy yellow with a cloudy white head. Nose reminiscent of a hefeweizen, chemical/cloves/navel oranges. Solid mouthfeel, feels very full and refreshing. Flavor of natural squeezed orange juice (not from concentrate) and wheatgrass. This is a well-made beer, but is not a style that I care for. I can’t put my own bias aside enough to enjoy this. DaMenace123 (251), Houston, Texas, USA
