Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

It poured a hazy lemon yellow with a small head that diminished quickly but left nice lacing. The aroma is light and spicy, with the coriander very apparent. I thought the odor was more lemony than orange. The orange was more obvious in the flavor than I expected from the aroma, with the coriander still very noticeable, along with a hint of pepper and clove. It’s a little hoppier than many witbiers, but since I like a hoppy beer, this suited me just fine! White Rascal is definitely a very drinkable beer, and one that I’ll be putting in my "beer rotation."

The 12 ounce bottle poured a hazy pale yellow (pineapple colored) beverage with a frothy white average sized head that was mostly diminishing and left good lacing on the glass. It had an interesting aroma with notes of coriander and orange that were quite prevalent. It was dry, tart and lightly sweet all at the same time. The body was medium-light with average carbonation and a refreshing watery texture. The flavor starts off sweet and spicy ant then quickly adds a tart aspect as the sweetness gives way to a light bitterness. The finish is medium long.

The White Rascal pours a cloudy light yellow color, settling into a medium hazy yellow body. The body also contained many floating yeast particles. The medium fizzy white head was fully diminishing and had sticky lacing. The nose detected a strong yeast presence with hints of lemon and banana. This is a very inviting beer and is making my palate moist. The initial acidic taste was quickly followed by a faint sweet taste for an average duration. Soft carbonation, light to medium in body along with a light creamy texture, this isn’t like a typical Wheat ale. The citrus taste wasn’t as strong as I expected from the citrus aromatic presence. It’s not as strong in flavor as the Harpoon UFO, but it’s mild taste is appealing to the palate. Reviewed on January 11th, 2007.

Pours a very bubbly light gold with a thick and effervescent white head. Smells of wheat, light citrus, and orange peel. Flavor is light and refrshing although nothing too comlex. Tastes like a typical wit beer. You get that light citrus, yeast, and wheat. Extremely easy drinking. I could sit with this and watch footall all day long.

Aroma of clove, coriander and citrus? A clear, very pale, yellow color. The white head left quickly. Flavor goes quickly through clover, coriander and finally, I think, the orange appears, with yeast always somewhat present. Very nice. A bit less astringent than some Belgians of the style. Extremely pleasant. Given the moderate alcohol it could be consumed in relative quantity. Especially in summer around pool. Much more sensible choice than Corona.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head and no lacing. Heavily spiced aroma, featuring clove and coriander. The spices tend to dominate the flavor a bit with some noticable citrus and wheat. A solid Belgian white but the spices could be toned down a bit.

Almost $9 for six. Pale white with carbo and unfiltered "Yup thats yeast" is written all over this beer. Good. Not great, but very good.
