Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Pours a cloudy amber with a white head. Smells of coriander, oranges, some cloves. Tastes of light coriander. Some banana notes on the finish. Easy drinking wheat beer. Nothing special.

12oz bottle, no date. Pours a cloudy very light yellowish white with a quickly fading fizzy white head. Aroma of oranges, peppery spices, some sweet malts, and a tinge of yeast. Smells better than it tastes--the orange is subdued and there is slight pepper and yeast, though all tastes are blunted. There was a little bit of plastic as well. The aftertaste was kinda nasty--bitter with no other flavor, and not hoppy bitter. Medium bodied, light-medium carbonation. I was expecting from the taste for it to be more watery. This beer is kinda crappy.

This is just not my style of beer. I can’t stand the heavy corlander and orange peel flavor. I will keep trying until I find a Whitbier that I can like.

Aroma is strongly of corriander with faint citrus notes. Appearance is of straw with tight long lasting head, no apparent lacing. Taste is dominated by corriander bite, lack of orange. Lacks spicy flavor associated with style.

Hazy straw color, small white head that had a good hang time then faded slowly to leave a slight lace behind. The aroma was citrusy with a nice spicy side and a decent wheat showing.Citrusy spicy flavor with a slight yeasty side, very nice brew again from these guys and this would definately make a nice summer brew.

Hazy yellow straw with a fizzy but lasting pure white head. Coriander, and orange peel are easy to pick out in the aroma. The flavor is citric and spicy with a metallic tough as Philly pointed out. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Not something I can see buying again, but if offered I’ll sure take it.

Pleasing wit aroma, with mild clove and some orange peel, coriander seed also apparent. I like the look of this one, a very pale yellow, with a smallish head - but that pale cloudy color really defines witbier. Zesty flavor with lemon, coriander, and a metallic note that leads to a fairly hoppy finish. Lingering tartness that is surprisingly puckering. Somewhat of an airy texture, with no shortage of carbonation. Kinda nice.

Bottle poured bright, hazy blonde, with sticky, thin head. Smells like oranges and tortillas, very earthy and full. Tastes like a plain cake donut, with delicious subtle hops and sweetness. Not at all the wheat I was expecting.
