Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Hazy bright blonde color with thin white head. Typical Belgium aroma of sweet fruit, spice and yeast. Nice flavor initially. The wheat hits first then it rolls into a sour and bitter flavor. The sour and bitterness fade as the beer is further consumed. Fresh tasting and refreshing hot summer day beer.

Bottle: Pretty decent little White beer. I could definitely drink this every day, especially come summer time. Im not a huge fan of Whitbiers, but this is pretty much spot-on. Some good flavors throughout.

Bottle. Pours extremely hazy; light straw in color. This is the definition of "white beer" in terms of color. Tight white head. Aroma is lightly spice, with a hint of banana and orange. Lightly sweet in the front, with mostly a soft banana flavor. Spices and hop bitterness pick up in the middle and finish strong. Some bitterness lasting into the finish, indicating a little too much hop bitterness. Overall, a nice refreshing beer, but missing a lot of the complexities of a truely fine wit. Additionally, the hop bitterness in the finish is out of style and detracts from the beer.

Bottle from Beer Depot- Pours foggy, cloudy, pastel yellow. Fruity banana aromas with apples, cloves, and a suprising amount of american hops in the nose. Taste is sharp banana and clove, sweet fruit, bread, with a good dose again of american hops. Spiced finish. Thanks Jadoreblanche!

Pours hazed, faint pale yellow, almost white with a shallow spritzy froth. Aroma of salted banana. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are a bit sharp with hops while possesing the ntural attributes of the genre. Flavors of banana up front quickly chang to bitter peach pit and coriander spice. I also detected a bit of sodium on the side walls. Overall: it’s a bit hoppy for being so lite. The addition of coriander is nice. Not ballanced.

Bottled. Pours a hazy golden/yellow color. Slightly grainy/yeasty aroma. Some traces of bubblegum. Slightly bitter yeasty flavor right up front. Some orange peel and a bit of spiciness. Slightly bitter finish.

Pours a cloudy sunshine yellow with a white head that dissapates to a film. Aroma of corriander, orange zest and light pepper. The flavor is similar with some slight banana elements added to the orange zest/corriander combo. Spritzy and a bit creamy at times...a fairly light body overall, very drinkable. Overall not a bad little brew...a pretty good summer session.
