Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

From a 12oz single I picked up this brew poured a cloudy yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma of orange, spice, citrus and yeast. Nice refreshing taste of citrus (orange and some lemon), spice and hops - perfect carbonation. A very refreshing brew that I thoroughly enjoyed drinking. Next time it won’t be a single - it’ll be a sixer.

Bottle. Pours a clear light blond brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film. Aroma of Belgian yeast funk, some light multi-grian malt and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is light bodied, well carbonated with a spicy wheat and yeasty beverage flavor. Finish is slightly spicy with a grassy/wheat aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nice citric spicy aroma with a hint of lemon. The flavor is well balanced with some lemony citrus and spices. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden color with a medium sized foamy head. Nice aroma full of spice and grain. Flavor is also nice.. Wheat, spice, and a nice sour undertone. I really like this one. Great summer beer.

(Sample Date: 6/5/2009 Source:Other) 12 oz bottle. Grainy with light fruitiness and Belgian yeast character in aroma. Cloudy light yellow straw with small white head. Light fruitiness with Belgian yeast spiciness and a light citrus twang. Medium body well carbonated. Finish is fairly dry, with a light residual peppery bitterness.

Pours an opaque light yellow with a white frothy head, fairly large. Aroma has yea spice, orange- surprisingly nice. Flavor is watery and one-dimensional, a let-down after the smell. Belgian yeast and spice, and not much else. OK, but no great shakes.

Flowery, wheaty, hard to find the citrus. A little spiciness. Would rather drink Hoegaarden. Bottle at Whole Foods Miami Beach
