biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA May 19, 2009 Reasonably good witbier, but it definitely didnt’ blow me away or anything. This will be a pass next time, plenty of better versions of this out there. osu97gp (168), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 17, 2009 Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus and coriander. Flavor of yeast and spices. Pretty good. trevor211 (500), Seattle, Washington, USA May 14, 2009 Tasted as part of the Avery Experience at Brouwer’s. Pours the color of white grape juice with a small head. Big aroma for a wit - coriander, citrus and a bit of pepper. Perfect carbonation, though it’s a bit dilute. It has a nice, gentle flavor, though. Pretty good wit. livelaughlovep (96), Lakewood, Ohio, USA May 11, 2009 Updated: May 18, 2009Full of coriander flavor, a hint of orange and rubber. Yeasty bread, sweet malt - Very crisp and smooth - great summertime beer. fidelis83 (707), Clinton, Iowa, USA May 8, 2009 Pours hazy yellow with a 3 finger foamy white head that has decent retention. Aroma is lemon, spices wheat and orange peel. Flavor is sweet yeasty bread rolls, orange marmalade, fresh wheat bread, spices and peppery yeast. A good witbier. tokyogoat (505), San Diego, California, USA May 7, 2009 Poured a hazy yellow, resembled the urine of a well hydrated mid-thirties male, with head resembling the foam created by the urinal cake.
Smells strongly of coriander.
Tastes like your standard wit beer kicked up with a ton of orange peel and spices. a little white pepper, and well carbonated.
As far as wit beers go, this one is not that great, but the nice flavors, light body, and citrus finish makes this a great session beer. MrBeerFanatic (344), jamestown, New York, USA May 5, 2009 Without out the yeast disturbed pours a light yellow otherwise cloudy with a stagnant frothy white head. Can smell the coriander, orange, and other spices. Flavor a par lower than the aromas consisting of a light sweetness, with hints of orange, coriander, wheat, and other spice. Bitter end, crisp and refreshing on a hot summers day. obxdude10 (1546), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA May 5, 2009 I don’t know why I continue to try the witbier style, because I know I don’t care for it. But I do it anyway. Just like the others, I didn’t care for this offering either. The beer poured a cloudy and pale light yellow color with a big white head. There was plenty of lacing around the glass. The aroma was very unpleasant, with a sour tone of fruits, yeast, and outdated vegetables. The body was light and refreshing, but the flavors were unpalatable. There were notes of coriander, orange, tomato and yeast. This was a very unpleasant and unenjoyable beer. I would not have even sampled this, but a friend of mine at the bar offered me a taste of his. Recluntantly I tired it, but wish I hadn’t.
