I like the look of this one, a very pale yellow, with a smallish head - but that pale cloudy color really defines witbier. Zesty flavor with lemon, coriander, and a metallic note that leads to a fairly hoppy finish. Lingering tartness that is surprisingly puckering. Somewhat of an airy texture, with no shortage of carbonation. Kinda nice. SSSteve (2064), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2005 Pours a frothy white head over a clear light yellow body. Lemon spice aroma.
Lightly sweet but very subdued flavor. Light palate, thin and lacking in depth. Very disappointed in this one, I have had some other witbiers that were not bad and this is way below Avery’s usual high level of standards. vyvvy (2043), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Clean wheat malt aroma with orange peel and light coriander on the aroma. Pours slightly hazy light yellow with nice size head and very lively carbonation. Taste is very dry with the coriander in the forefront. Finish starts with a smooth citrus mouthfeel, followed by a sour/bitter flavor. More of the smooth citrus of the finish incorporates itself in the initial taste further down the glass. Nice unique representation of the style. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2007 bottle - Pours cloudy yellow with a very thin head. It has a citrus aroma led by oranges. This brew tastes sweet, but not overly so, and the orange peels are very noticeable. In my opinion they’re a bit overdone. It’s light and refreshing as a wit typically is and while enjoyable, could be better. bitbucket (2033), Kirkland, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2003 Rather typical witbier aroma, some lemony citrus, coriander, herbal spice, orange peel and juicy sweetness. Hazy, pale yellow color, with a lasting, creamy head. Wheat malt and citrus up front, followed by a mild burst of spiciness and hop flavor, with a yeasty, fruity and quite zippy finish. Not a bad Wit. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
