The aroma is lemon and banana with some other random fruit and grain notes. The flavor is yeasty and slightly bitter with some zest, banana, raw wheat, and grass. Once in a while I can detect the corriander. Not a superior brew, not really as refreshing as I would like. But drinkable. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 24, 2006 Hazy yellow body with a large head. Aroma is dominated by oranges, but there’s also some spices here too. Flavor is the same, more spices in the aftertaste. A tad bit of alcohol there too. Extremely easy to drink... I could probably drink a lot of these fast... but that’s because there isn’t a lot here. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Light banana notes, light citrus and lightly yeasty. Could use a little more flavor all the way around. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2006 A murky yellow appearance with a moderate white head. A spicy lemon aroma with some orange peels and coriander. The flavor is quite citrusy but a little overspiced for my liking. It has a hefe type quality with some bananas and clove present as well. Overall a pretty good beer. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 1, 2007 Pint @ Allen Street Hardware. Very similar to Hoegaarden but not as good. Pale unfiltered yellow. Slight citrus presence. I’m usually a fan of Belgian whites but this really doesn’t do much for me. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2008 This blonde ale poured with a foamy white head, eliciting a spicy aroma. The flavor is typical of a Belgian-style witbier, with coriander and orange peel over a wheat base. Very refreshing and drinkable.
