Nose full of musky wheat and lemon citrus. Coriander and nice fruity esters. Doughy yeast. Sourness throughout. Lemons again with more yeast and dough. Spices come through a bit more muted. Grassy hops and more wheat. Nice body and a fruity sour finish. Good example of the style. LinusStick (1844), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Beautiful cloudy white with a puffy 2 finger head that laced the whole glass. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Taste was all citrus and a crisp wheaty finish. Refreshing and delicious. mar (1842), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 21, 2004 Pours a nice cloudy yellow. Aroma is very creamy. Flavor is coriander and other types of citrus. Very spicey mouthfull at the end. Noty bad but better out there, say in Belgium. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Updated: Jul 12, 2007Bottle. Classic cloudy, pale piss color. Small, lasting head with a little lace. Clean coriander-citrus, yeast, and bubblegum aroma. Flavor is similar, but with more peppery hops and bitter orange peel than expected. As a result, this one seems less sweet than I normally prefer in a wit, but it seems to work well in this beer. Palate is dry and smooth, with good hop and carbonation-tingle, refreshing and light-bodied. Dorwart (1814), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2006 Thin bright white head. Reduces rather quickly. Good carbonation. Yeast, lemon, spices, little sweetness. Color is a slightly hazy gold. Light crisp flavor with plenty of spices. Little malts for backbone. Some wheat on the tongue. Finish is crisp and slightly tart/bitter and dry. A decent brew. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 12, 2004 Thin and ultra light colored. Nose of corn adjunctness - yep, too sweet and artificial from the get go? A tad bit of pepper, certainly a very wheaty wit (thinly sour). Uninspired to say the least. Much better at the end with the yeast pour. rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Hazy yellow hue, with an off-white head, yeasty, wheaty, spicy nose of coriander spiciness, juicy lemony, citrus fruitiness, with some curaçao notes, faint floral hop in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, crisp zesty citrusy, wheat malt character, with an orange peel accent, grapefruit and lemon fruitiness, with a spicy coriander note, leading towards a lemony acidic, hop bittering finish.
