Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

From a 12 oz bottle that cost me 9.69 a six pack at BevMo this poured a hazy yellow with a billowing white head and decent lacing. Nose of banana and citrus, with a smooth light mouthfeel. Flavor is the same banana and citrus, mostly lemon, and the finish is dry. OK for its type.

Bottle from Beer Depot- Pours foggy, cloudy, pastel yellow. Fruity banana aromas with apples, cloves, and a suprising amount of american hops in the nose. Taste is sharp banana and clove, sweet fruit, bread, with a good dose again of american hops. Spiced finish. Thanks Jadoreblanche!

A pretty straight-forward, by the numbers witbier, but very tasty. The body of the beer is a cloudy golden-yellow with a brilliant white foamy head. Light coriander and sweet oranges in the aroma. Flavor has some nice citrus/orange notes going, light wheat with a slightly spicy finish. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle at the Fox & Parrot. Pours hazy gold with no real head. The aroma sports some clean cut spiciness in the way of cloves with a pleasant orange/lemon tang to it. The palate is light and suits the style well. I get solid cloves, a husky bitterness, lemons, orange. . .this is a solid Wit. I would drink one of these on a hot summer day and not feel bad about it at all. It aims to quench the thirst while still providing adequate complexity and cleanliness.

I bought this $1.50 beer at HiTime Wine Cellar about 3months ago for a Belgian trade, because the guy wanted it, but then we agreed to swap it out for something more valuable with limited bottle space. I usually avoid buying beers below 3.8, so I’ve been reluctant to try it and it was sitting in my fridge all this time. Well I think I should clean some of these 3.2 beers out of my fridge and here I am tasting this one. Pours light cloudy yellow. A small amount of yeast sediment in the bottle. Fluffy huge bubble head fades quickly to no head and a few medium bubbles. Nice carbonation in the liquid though. Lots of banana and corriander in the aroma characteristic of a traditional Hefe yeast. I guess it is not a true Hefeweizen with the corriander addition, but maybe it’s standard in Belgian wits. Lots of bandaid aroma reminiscent of Bells 8000. Maybe the bandaid aroma is a combination of banana and corriander. Hmm. High drinkability. Mild.
