Bottle, from Julio’s. Ok nose, sweet. I get an initial yeasty small that quites down, then wheat, orange. Hazy golden color, small head that faded quickly. Sweet flavors, like aromas , without yeasty part, with the coriander standing out. Little banana too. Thin body, Lite creamy mouthfeel, spicy sweet finish. This one didn’t excite me, though I’m not that familiar with the style.

Bottle. Super pale in color. Aroma had occasional hints of yeasty goodness, some light spices, but esters were weak (some lemon), and in general the aroma was nothing special. Flavor improved the spice aspect of the brew and added a nice sweetness to the lemon characteristic. Refreshing, but still oddly thin in the mouth. A bit odd, but decent.

Pale yellow. Big white head. Coriander and curacao big in the nose, also light yeast. Flavor same, crisp, refreshing. Light body, easy drinking, nice flavor. Good summer beer.

Half pint draught. Wonderful white yellowish cloudy colour. Medium-sized white creamy head. Served with a lemon wedge. Refreshing light citrus aroma. Crisp fruity flavours. Very drinkable. Easily the best witbier I’ve had. Smooth yeasty texture. Light drying hop bitterness. A bit strong perhaps as it is quite round and the alcohol is noticeable.

12 oz bottle: seems to pour crystal clear out of the bottle, but settles into a bright, though hazy lemon. Thin starched white head. Characteristic clove/cracked pepper/yeasty aroma. Though the aroma is just what you would expect a slight tang of sweet orange rind and sour malt keeps it from being boring. Nice tight carbonation, which creates a smooth mouth feel. Lemon flavours up front are balanced nicely with bitter oranges, chewy malt, sticky/sour honey, and some fennel. Not my favourite style, but satisfying and interesting no less, Cheers whaleman for the extra treat.

A worthy Belgian white that the whole family can enjoy. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden color with small white head. Aroma dominated by yeast. Flavor is yeast, orange, coriander, and mild hops. Satisfying and very drinkable. Paired this with lobster on Christmas Eve, which was AWESOME.

Bottle. Hazy-yellow, little head despite my usual aggressive pour. Something was really botched in the taste. Okay, okay, I get the usual dry wheatiness. I get the orange peel and coriander mentioned in the commercial description, and this stuff was all good. But what's with the metallic taste that I keep getting, no matter how hard I try not to? It ruined the beer for me.

hazy, very light golden..thin white head with big bubbles. aroma is loaded with yeast and plenty of spices. flavor is also loaded with spices well into the finish..this beer is more hefeweizen-ish to me than wit..it's ok.
