Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

From Bottle. Pale, light yellow colored transparent pour with a tall, brilliant white soapy head. Refreshing aroma of banana, tangerines, and a bit of sweet clove spice. Light, thin clean feeling on the tongue, with a creamy wheat flavor with just a touch of sweetness and spice. Tasty, light, and refreshing, but nothing exciting or stimulating.

Strongly phenolic aroma (band aids) strong early mostly blows off, leaving just a hint of band aid and a solid dose of coriander in the nose. Thinnish and heavily spiced. Thirst quenching but not a particularly good example of the style.

12oz - Aroma is bready yeast, coriander and lemon. Pours pale yellow with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma focusing on the yeast which is pretty bland. Palate is kinda sticky. Pretty boring white.

I don't know how to rate a Witbier, to me it could use some more spice. Yellow transluscent. Yeast aroma. Flavor of coriander. For what its worth I thought it was pretty good.

Tastes of orange peels and hay. Full, rich taste that is light on the tongue. A pretty decent white ale.

Hazy yellow color, thin white head. It looked somewhat watery and flat. Aroma was biscuits and lemon with some spice. Flavor was yeasty with a lemon presence, It did lack the spice quality the aroma had. Decent, and refreshing.

Bright pale white/gold pour. A little good funk with the yeast and wheat. On tap at Raleigh WBF, and one of my last pours. Notes are indecipherable, but I do know that I found this above average... but not too far above average.
