Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

For this style, it is decent...as for my tastes, I probably won’t try this again. Luckily I had a 10 oz. tasting from my local bar who had it on tap .

12 oz bottle via Arctic Liquors Beer Club. It pours a hazy golden blonde with a large quickly receding white head. Nose is spicy pepper, clovers, and butter. Tastes just like it smells with some lemon and a touch of honey. This is better than expected as i typically do not expect much from this brewery, but this is not bad. Light/medium body, high carbonation as is typical of the style. This is an average beer for the style.

I hope i did not get an "off" bottle here. I say this because this is not a really attractive looking beer at all, strange pale yellow looking and hazy with a small white head..not pleasing to the eye. Aroma is very plain of lemon mostly with a slight pepperyness. The taste has hints of esters/bananas a little spice and mosatly lemon. a little malt is detected. Very thin on the palate not exciting at all. I found this dissapointing..I know wits arent the biggest and most flavorful of beers but this was rather limp and pedestrian.

Murky yellow, with little head. Aroma was slightly phenolic with some citrus and yeast. Flavor wasn't very appealing to me--coriander, a little wheatiness, but the finish was bad....phenolic yet again, a little spicy, left a sinful bitterness on the back of the tongue. No thanks.

Hazy light yellow color with thin head. There is a definate aroma of the coriander peaking through the wheat smell. Flavor is very nice, warming from the wheat, yet still has a nice feel the spice. Ending is cleanly crisp with a small hop bite to it.

12oz, served in my Duvel tulip. Nice wit spice aroma and some nice yeasty aromas too. Hazy gold with a small, but persistent, white head, maybe due to the coldness of the beer and a proper haze. Taste is wheat, coriander, curacao, yeast, vanilla, hay. There is also a nice tart/sour note and a lingering yeast flavor. Great summer beer and a nice example of the style.

12 oz bottle. Drank straight from the bottle... so I am unable to comment on the body of this beer. The aroma is some spice and yeast. Great taste, after awhile i could taste some more citrus in the finish. good solid wit.

Sample, from BeerFest in CT. Pours blonde with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of wheat, soft coriander, and malt. Mouthfeel is nice and crisp, very refreshing but still with some more “grainy” substance than a pilsner or pale lager. Flavors linger on wheat and spice, mild clove is apparent. Finish is clean, leaving only a trace of sweetness and wheat. Good.
