Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

12oz bottle from Old Chicago. Pours a slightly cloudy yello with a creamy white head. Aroma of wheat, malt, citrus, spices. Taste of wheat, spices and orange peel. Would really hit the spot on a hot summer day.

Cloudy pale yellow color with a small brite white head. Aroma is spicy citrus. Flavor is lemony with some yeast and spice, slightly tart with a light dry finish. Light velvety palate.

Cloudy yellow with slight orange tint, nice orange/ citrusy flavor to it, very drinkable and smooth and refreshing.

this was a poor representation fo a witbier. But it was the worst I’ve had and I’m still a fan of Avery. Even thought I feel they’ve missed the mark it this style.

Ron put together an extremely nice tasting and this was the opener. Slightly hazy, very pale, thick white head. Sour and bananas in the nose, similar palate but a little grainy. More like a hefe than a wit to me as I didn’t detect the oranges and coriander. They are subtle if they are there.

12 oz bottle. Drank straight from the bottle... so I am unable to comment on the body of this beer. The aroma is some spice and yeast. Great taste, after awhile i could taste some more citrus in the finish. good solid wit.

Pale golden color. Somewhat cloudy. Nice white head that sticks to the glass. Aroma has citrus, lemon, banana, some spice too? Flavor could use a little bit more. Peppery, some citrus. Overall pretty good, but could use a little more to be a really good beer.
