Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Bottle: First impression is concerning.... pale white with a thin white head. It reminds me of one of those mass brewed beers. But then taste is malty sweet, bready and fruity. Food Pairing: Ceviche.

Cloudy and hazy light golden-yellow color, spicy and earthy citrus aromas, decent white frothy head that sticks to the sides of the glass.Wheat with peppery and spicy yeast flavors, crisp carbonated mouthfeel, finishes clean and dry, great for the style, very refreshing and tasty.

Perfectly acceptable and refreshing summertime wit. Not a lot going on, but that’s the style. Clean and thirst quenching.

Pours a lightly hazed straw color - that shows bright gold where it catches the light. The glass I used was too small to pour the whole bottle in. After a bit, I was able to stir up the yeast and dump the remaining beer - producing a much hazier straw color that refuses to catch the light. A quarter inch of white suds sticks around for quite a while. Decent lacing. Tangy wheat and a hint of lemon in the aroma. Tasty with both sweet and dry tangy wheat malt, prominent coriander, and an orange zestiness. Initial sips (pre-swirl and dump) provided no yeast flavors, but afterwards they sure did. Light to medium body, light but lively carbonation. True to style, refreshing and drinkable.

Reasonably good witbier, but it definitely didnt’ blow me away or anything. This will be a pass next time, plenty of better versions of this out there.

Interesting aroma. Smells medicine like. Oooh, this one is not good. Funky aftertaste which tastes bad. Putrid! Almost a drain pour. Worst beer I’ve had in a long time and by far the worst beer I’ve had from Avery.

Pours a hazy golden straw color with a white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus and spices. Flavor is citrus, coriander, tart wheat and a little breadiness.
