Spicy aroma, pretty citrusy. Kind of sweet, especially at the finish. Spices and some banana factor in as well. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2007 This was a very pleasant beer, and I’m not a big fan of wheats. Poured to a hazy lemonade color with medium white head that lingered well through the glass and left good lacing. Aroma was faint, but the presence of dough and spices was present. Mouthfeel was tingly, and the flavor was very prominently coriander and clove spices, all leading to a thirst-quenching finish.
My only complaint with this was that I was drinking it on a Spring inside a restaurant. I think this would be much better served cold outside on a hot summer’s day. I’ll have to plan on that. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Pours a very light yellow and hazy with a mostly receding white head. A hazy pour. The color of lemonade, very light, perhaps tan. Aroma of orange peel and coriander. Taste is spicy with a mix of orange, pepper, and wheat. Body is highly carbonated. Interesting... | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Color is a pale, somewhat cloudy yellow, typical of a wheat beer but still promising. Aroma is strong and wheaty with a hint of citrus. Flavor is full and satisfying, wheaty and malty, no bitterness and just a hint of sweetness. Any fan of wheat beers should enjoy this one. drismyhero (815), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2007 Great choice this very hot day. Poured nice and white/golden with a lightly yeasty aroma. Yeast is forefront with a cooling coriander fruitiness I immediately picked up on. Nothing revolutionary here by any means, been there done that, but still a very solid beer that made for a great quencher. WabashMan (815), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2004 A nice spicy aroma complements a strangely bitter flavor and aftertaste in this brew. An odd wit, but decent. BeerVirgin72 (814), Pataskala, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Had on draft at the Brew Kettle. Poured a hazy golden color. Sweet and strong smell of citrus, grass, and corriander. The taste was WAY hoppy for me. Hops and orange peel. I did not really care for this one. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
