Coriander-spicy, lemony, quite fresh aroma. Flavor of sweetish-fruity-lemony malt, coriander, orange-peel, some hops, and a tiny hint of pepper. Room temp is way too warm for this, but I got the idea... Should be a very ok summer drink. joss (3693), Garching b. München, Germany

Aroma of spices, citrus, orange peel, and light yeast. Dull orange peel, yeast, and some cardboard in the taste as well. Oily mouthfeel. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Hazy yellow color with no head. A moderate corriander aroma with some wheat. Lot’s of wheat and an orangy finish. Fairly light body. Corriander fades in the taste. Not bad. Thankfully not a corriander smoothy like so many Wits turn into. Moderately cloudy with not a whole lot of head. Smells of coriander, yeast, a little bit perfumy. Orange and more citrus. Starts out mildly acidic, mildly sweet and VERY WATERY. Yuck this tastes like soggy wheat with some slightly tart but muted lemon and a little bit of dissolved bubble gum/candy flavor. Maybe I got a bad bottle, dont know why this would be so bad. coriander and lots of water dont mix. 5/4/3/1/7 2005 draught at Redbones Phew, was hesitant to try this one after hating the bottle I had last. Much better though. A hoegaarden clone it seems, with a very similar appearance (though this lacked much, if any head formation or retention). Huge amount of haziness though, and who would have thought, when Avery makes unfiltered beers, they are good, hint hint. Lemon, bubble gum and clove all balanced well with soft wheat and light pils malt and belgian base malt. 6/4/7/3/12 Dickinsonbeer (3552), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Modest head which fades slightly. Aroma is mostly orange and citrus, then bubblegum, then yeasty and has hints of wheat, clove and vanilla. Tastes slightly acidic and tart with yeasty flavors like bubblegum and clove. Finishes a little dry and only slightly bitter. FatPhil (3507), Espoo, Finland

They’ve done somthing horribly wrong. This is an attempt to ruin wheat beer. Do not let someone unfamiliar with wit drink this, as it will not just put them off and also tell them nothing about the style. Unpleasant sticky slop. larsniclas (3391), Gothenburg, Sweden

Hazy golden.
Gunpowder-aroma.
Pretty thin, boring and dry. Bland.
