Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Nice hints of spice in the aroma backed by orange, lemon, yeast and wheat. Flavor is spicy with notes of coriander and zest, followed with orange, lemon, yeast and a faint hint of malt. Overall, refreshing and light...great for a summer day.

12oz. bottle: This one pours a bit fizzy. It creates a small white head that goes away rapidly. The beer pours a cloudy straw yellow color. There are hints of corriander and orange to the nose. Also a hint of breadiness. It is quite tasty. It is a medium wheat body, with reserved tastes of coriander and orange. A twinge of sourness to the finish. Quite refreshing. Thanks, Jay

Rather typical witbier aroma, some lemony citrus, coriander, herbal spice, orange peel and juicy sweetness. Hazy, pale yellow color, with a lasting, creamy head. Wheat malt and citrus up front, followed by a mild burst of spiciness and hop flavor, with a yeasty, fruity and quite zippy finish. Not a bad Wit.

Straw colored brew with a big bubbly white head. Spicy, yeasty nose. Crisp wheat bite with some lingering spiciness. Light bodied, this would make a nice summer session brew.

1st rating (bottle) Sparkly yellow champagne appearance. Highly carbonated though the head evaporates quickly. Piquant yeasty aroma with a prickly pleasant mouthfeel, but flavor underdelivers. Light-medium bodied with prickly peripheral yeastiness and a mild sour finish. 2nd rating (tap). What a difference on tap makes! My final rating will be an average of both ratings as there was such a profound difference between tap and bottled versions. The tap version champagne white/blonde, with piquant coriander, zesty citrus, almost lemony, yeast springing into the nose. Piquant, smooth, and relatively light bodied, but flavorful and giving the impression of a higher ABV than you would expect. Perfect on the palate and an American Style Belgian Witt that would be hard to top in the states.

Great choice this very hot day. Poured nice and white/golden with a lightly yeasty aroma. Yeast is forefront with a cooling coriander fruitiness I immediately picked up on. Nothing revolutionary here by any means, been there done that, but still a very solid beer that made for a great quencher.

Hazy straw yellow body under a thick white head - great lacing! Full, rich aroma: yeast, bit of phenols, damp hay, and a central malt sweetness. Light fluffy mouthfeel, sort of like eating egg nog foam. Sweet wheat malt, lemon peel and light coriander in the flavor. Very light and delicate.
