Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Hazy straw yellow body under a thick white head - great lacing! Full, rich aroma: yeast, bit of phenols, damp hay, and a central malt sweetness. Light fluffy mouthfeel, sort of like eating egg nog foam. Sweet wheat malt, lemon peel and light coriander in the flavor. Very light and delicate.

Very pale cloudy yellow out of the bottle with a lasting, whispy white film for a head. Light body and very easy to drink. Nice coriander spice with more citrus and berry flavors than I expected. Not a great witbier, but a very enjoyable drink.

Cloudy yellow looks almost juice like. The head is dense, and meringue like with good retention. The aroma is very wheaty, but seems low on the spicing. A good bit of phenol. The flavor seems more hefeweizen than witbier, although wheat in the banana esters. Soft, full mouthfeel. Good wheat beer, weak witbier.

yellow, hazy, & bright...with a thin head of froth...spicy aroma with nutmeg, and lots of yeast...flavors of coriander, orange peel, cinnamon, and yeast...a tad thin bodied but still quite flavorful

Lighter fare, but that’s to be expectes with the style. Personally I would look forward to more spice even though I generally do go for it in beer, that Pierre Celis turned me around on this style. Very easy to drink. Clean and refreshing, but add the C&C to a higher degree and please me, please.

12 oz bottle: seems to pour crystal clear out of the bottle, but settles into a bright, though hazy lemon. Thin starched white head. Characteristic clove/cracked pepper/yeasty aroma. Though the aroma is just what you would expect a slight tang of sweet orange rind and sour malt keeps it from being boring. Nice tight carbonation, which creates a smooth mouth feel. Lemon flavours up front are balanced nicely with bitter oranges, chewy malt, sticky/sour honey, and some fennel. Not my favourite style, but satisfying and interesting no less, Cheers whaleman for the extra treat.

This beer poured a hazy yellow straw color and formed a bubbly white head with left some circular lace as it subsided. Some carbonation is present. An aroma of hops, citrus and coriander. A taste of hops, citrus and coriander. A rather buttery feel to it, which is different for this style. Not a bad wit.

Very light, colored wit. Slightly hazy, medium head. Over-spicy,nose of coriander, and Curaco. Yeast and Saaz undertones. Mouthfeel is decent thanks to substantial amount of malt.Refreshing and easy to drink. Flavors don't offer more than aroma.Pretty spicy, malty in the mouth.Good dry(Saaz, spices)finish. Lingering Saaz. Not bad.
