Jan 21, 2008 I bought this $1.50 beer at HiTime Wine Cellar about 3months ago for a Belgian trade, because the guy wanted it, but then we agreed to swap it out for something more valuable with limited bottle space. I usually avoid buying beers below 3.8, so I’ve been reluctant to try it and it was sitting in my fridge all this time. Well I think I should clean some of these 3.2 beers out of my fridge and here I am tasting this one. Pours light cloudy yellow. A small amount of yeast sediment in the bottle. Fluffy huge bubble head fades quickly to no head and a few medium bubbles. Nice carbonation in the liquid though. Lots of banana and corriander in the aroma characteristic of a traditional Hefe yeast. I guess it is not a true Hefeweizen with the corriander addition, but maybe it’s standard in Belgian wits. Lots of bandaid aroma reminiscent of Bells 8000. Maybe the bandaid aroma is a combination of banana and corriander. Hmm. High drinkability. Mild.

Jul 25, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a cloudy white-yellow with a small head. Nice yeast aroma with hints of stone fruits and caramel. Taste is wheat, banana esters, bubblegum, yeast, spice. Very light texture and taste. Pleasant.

Nov 6, 2007 4 oz. sampling from a bottle. a very nice belgian white style beer. the curacao and coriander definitely make themselves known on the palate and throughout the finish. White beers are not in my favorite styles, but this one is very refreshing and a pleasure to drink.

May 14, 2009 Tasted as part of the Avery Experience at Brouwer’s. Pours the color of white grape juice with a small head. Big aroma for a wit - coriander, citrus and a bit of pepper. Perfect carbonation, though it’s a bit dilute. It has a nice, gentle flavor, though. Pretty good wit.

Jun 10, 2008 On tap at Porter’s, UCSD. Cloudy pale yellow with a white ring. Light hoppy aroma. Bigger hoppy taste, with citrus, cloves, other spices. Nice carbonation. Lingering hoppy bitterness. Tasty and drinkable.

Jul 6, 2009 A really nice beer overall. And it stuck out quite a bit which was nice, considering i had a bunch of belgian wits this past week. Bright hazey golden colour with a fluffy white top. Noticeable tropical fruits and spices right away on the nose. Taste was typical but still pleasent. Spicey and creamy with generous amounts of fruit.

Jun 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nice citric spicy aroma with a hint of lemon. The flavor is well balanced with some lemony citrus and spices. Nice.

Nov 19, 2008 ery pale light straw colored pour. Hazy with a fluffy white head. Spicy clove and banana aroma. Intense banana flavor with spice. Cereal malt finish. Bitter and dry. A bit too much carbonation. Not bad, nothing special.
