May 4, 2004 Cloudy pale yellow with a frothy, rapidly dissipating white head. The wheaty aroma is mixed with a lemon/citrus scent. First tastes are light wheat and citrus flavors, followed by spices and a bitter aftertaste. Subsequent tastes were dominated more with the spices, and not as much of the citrus flavors as I would have expected. Looked better than it tasted.

Feb 7, 2007 Aroma of clove, coriander and citrus? A clear, very pale, yellow color. The white head left quickly. Flavor goes quickly through clover, coriander and finally, I think, the orange appears, with yeast always somewhat present. Very nice. A bit less astringent than some Belgians of the style. Extremely pleasant. Given the moderate alcohol it could be consumed in relative quantity. Especially in summer around pool. Much more sensible choice than Corona.

Aug 20, 2005 Cloudy pale yellow color with a small brite white head. Aroma is spicy citrus. Flavor is lemony with some yeast and spice, slightly tart with a light dry finish. Light velvety palate.

Nov 8, 2006 Color is unusually white and the aroma is thin. However, the flavor really jumps out. It is full of lemon, orange, and coriander. Delicious! The flavor doesn’t quite hold up as it warms but this is a great wit. It is crisp and clean and leaves you wanting more.

Feb 15, 2005 Nice hazy golden body with light head. Yeasty aroma with coriander. Light wheat tartness, not as strong as I expected, or have tasted in others. Still an easier drink than some of those.

Dec 30, 2006 In a chilled mug: Poured a very murky, opaque gold...looks just like pinapple juice with the pulp. Well it would look just like pinapple juice if it wasn’t for the foamy white head. Anyway, pleasant aroma of wheat, coriander, spicy citrus. Taste of spiced wheat with slightly sour hints. Surprisingly bland, actually, given the aroma. But a good witbier nonetheless.

Aug 9, 2005 Poured a hazy whitish yellow. Earthy aroma with sweet oranges. Light sweet orange flavor and some spicey notes.
