The wheaty aroma is mixed with a lemon/citrus scent. First tastes are light wheat and citrus flavors, followed by spices and a bitter aftertaste. Subsequent tastes were dominated more with the spices, and not as much of the citrus flavors as I would have expected. Looked better than it tasted. bhensonb (4342), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2007 Aroma of clove, coriander and citrus? A clear, very pale, yellow color. The white head left quickly. Flavor goes quickly through clover, coriander and finally, I think, the orange appears, with yeast always somewhat present. Very nice. A bit less astringent than some Belgians of the style. Extremely pleasant. Given the moderate alcohol it could be consumed in relative quantity. Especially in summer around pool. Much more sensible choice than Corona. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Well it would look just like pinapple juice if it wasn’t for the foamy white head. Anyway, pleasant aroma of wheat, coriander, spicy citrus. Taste of spiced wheat with slightly sour hints. Surprisingly bland, actually, given the aroma. But a good witbier nonetheless. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2003 The appearance was different than all of the other beers I've tried so far. I held my glass up to the sun filled window and it looked like I was holding a glass of clear lemonade. The color was a very pale yellow - almost white. Other than that, the beer tasted and smelled slightly fruity like most of the other Belgian wheat beers that I've had. PorterPounder (3146), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2004 Cloudy, light golden appearance, thin spritzy white head. Fresh, floral aroma with a little bit of fruit; nectarines perhaps. Tart, crisp flavor, notes hints of coriander and lemon. Mouthfeel is a bit dry, kind of makes you pucker. Very thirst quenching though after a morning’s hike along the Ninichik River in Alaska. Finishes strong. Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2004 Medium sediment fills this yellow beer without a head. Slight orange-yeasty aroma. I got the corriander right away in the first taste, but it greatly mellowed with more. This settled into a more even-keeled wheat beer along the lines of American style wheats as the more distinct fruit flavors diminished.
