Lacks a little sweetness that I would look for in this kind of beer. The more I drink it the better I like. It’s Great for the hot early afternoons. This Brewery makes great Belgian style beers. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light hazy white/yellow color ale with a big foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of coriander and orange peel is dominating with light wheat notes. Taste is a mix between some orange peel, coriander and some wheat malt with some notes of fruity ester. Light body with OK carbonation. Not bad but not there with the best from the style. arjoseph (594), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Wheaty, fruity smell with corn and pineapple. Skunk and yeast aromas right out of the bottle go away after a short time. Hazy golden yellow with a white froth head (not too large, fully diminishing). Good flavor, but lacks layers. Initial fruitiness is pineapple with some subtle cherry, finish is sweet like the candy stick in Fun Dip but short. A little biting in the acid and corriander. Good medium body and carbonation. Lacking complexity, but overall refreshing. BuckNaked (1209), Tempe, Arizona, USA

Pours to a bright yellow/golden/straw colored body with a small white head that quickly dies, though it does stick a bit around the edge of the glass without lacing. The aroma is light pepper, yeast, corriander, and hints of banana and sweet light malts. Taste is corriander, black pepper, yeast, banana, and some light esters, with some clear hints of orange rind, bread, and pale fresh malts. Light-medium bodied, lively carbonation, finishes with a bit of tingle on the tongue from carbonation, bitter orange rind and hops, along with some residual sweetness and pale malts. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA
