Carabia (23), Itä-Raasepori, Finland Nov 4, 2009 Hazy golden beer with a strong head that leaves lots of lace. The scent is refreshingly fruity and a little yeasty. The taste has some more refreshing fruits and slight hints of vanilla. jcos (23), Maryland, USA Nov 2, 2009 Updated: Nov 6, 2009Beer from Gilly’s.
I am a fan of hefeweizens..and wow, this is one good beer.
Sweet aroma, nice hazy appearance for a hefeweizen. Taste is exactly what a hefeweizen should be.
I need to go back and get more of this beer.
Update: Had a draft of this beer at Pizza Paradiso on 11/06/09 - this beer is better as a bottle. Nena (116), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 31, 2009 Poured a hazy gold with a thick, lasting white head. Aroma of banana, clove, bread, and a little citrus.
