Commercial Description:
Delicious lemon and vanilla scented wheat beer with yeast. This is an aristocratic beer with a champagne sparkle and a beautifully sustained head. With the pale color of mountain honey and tart refreshing palate, it is a "brut" beer with the delicious, complex fruitiness of extra-dry champagne. Bottle conditioned and top fermented, it is a benchmark for this style of beer. The nose is fruity-spicy, herbaceous with lots of flowers, and fruit. With such a creamy head, you can build miniature mountains that resemble the Alps. Pour slowly, fill the special weissbier glass half full and swirl the bottle on the table to put the yeast in suspension.

A good wheat beer, very satisfying. Cloves in aroma, orange in taste as well as lemon. Good mouthfeel though not the most outstanding I have had for a hefe, banana mouthfeel with little of the latter’s taste.

I am a fan of the hefeweizens. I liked this beer, but it was too lemony. I am used to a cloudy orange color with a mix of citrus fruit. This hefe had lemon notes to it all the way. The beer poured a cloudy lemon with little head. The beer was creamy and nice. I was impressed with this beer, but it reminded too much of a lager to be a hefe. Sorry Ayinger, but too much lemon.

Taste of smoke and eucalyptus or menthol! Fantastic... very pale colour, thick, white head. Aroma of cloves and wheat, nothing special there.

Tart aroma along with the typical hefe aromas. Cloudy yellow in appearance. Not alot of floaters as in some unfiltered hefes. Excellent flavor - citrusy flavor and very bubbly. This is a really fine beer. A real German Treat.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy, pale straw color with a bunch of carbonated bubbles and one of the biggest white heads I’ve ever seen. Aroma is beautiful clove, banana, yeast, strong vanilla, lemony citrus. Very appetizing aroma. Taste is creamy, crisp and refreshing. Quite light but has a nice citrusy finish. I wish this had a bit more punch to it but see how this could be an ideal summer brew. A solid hefe.

I do see and taste the look and feel of a champagne with this beer. This was an excellent hefe with a lot of flavor, great carbonation and an abundant amount of sizzle. One of my favorites that I can drink for a long time.

Draft at Ayinger Speis & Trank. Pours cloudy palish yellow. Aroma is fruit and sugary, tastes is sweet w/some spice. Pretty good weiss though not my favorite Ayinger.

Bottle Poured a cloudy golden body with nice size head that stayed. Aroma is of sweet citrus with a slight yeast lingering in there. Flavor was sweet with citrus tones and a yeasty aftertaste. Very good Hefe, very smooth and balanced.
