Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

O.K. this is my very first doppelbock that I’ve drank so I’m not to sure how they’re suppose to taste, so I guess I’ll just have to do general review. This stuff is dark, dark brown almost black with a half inch of brown head that is made up of very large bubbles. The smell is very bitter with coffee, wood and old fat woman sweat (you know that sweet salty stink that reminds you of grandma) being what I notice most, there is also a slightly smoky smell as well. I like the way this stuff smells buts it s kinda of weird. Good mouth feel, thick, not oily, and good carbonation through every sip. The taste is very nice it reminds me of a weaker version of a porter. Coffee, and deep roasted malts, and raisins are what I notice most, and they all have a slight smoky taste to them. There was also a very noticeable hop presence what was very nice surprise and the greatest thing about this beer is the little goat that hangs around the bottle neck that they give with each one. I might have to come back and redo this review when I’ve had more doppelbocks so I can compare better."

A dark dark reddish brown brew with a nice, thick tan head and decent lacing. Aromas of massive warmed malts, toffee, and coffee. Sweet and tasty sweet fizzy molassas, medium bitter coffee beans. Very full mouthfeel and chewy as well. Good tingle on sides of my tongue - you can breathe in the alcohol which warms the stomach. Super easy drinking.

Pours a deep auburn, almost back with a tan creamy head that dissappated quickly. Smells of raisins, rich sweet malts, and some hints of chocolate. Oily mouthfeel. The tastes of figs and raisins are immediate followed by some brown sugar. There are also notes of cinnamon and licorice too. Slightly grainy and bready. There’s a lot going on here!

22 oz. "pint" on tap. I ordered this before getting food, which took quite a while to come. Long story short, I can’t quite recall the exact details here, but I do remember I vastly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it was the last keg at this restaurant, and I’ve never seen it anywhere else, so it seems unlikely that I’ll be able to give it a proper review any time soon.
