Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours a dark mahogany with a nice creamy off white head that has good retention. The aroma is big licorice and smokey notes. The flavour is good, big salty original licorice notes, touches of malty caramel in the middle, chocolate, some sour apple notes and a light underlying metallic flavour that is kind of throwing me off. A pretty good beer but I was expecting something special from the 4.11 rating.

Molasses and a hint of aniseed on the nose. Deep muddy brown with a beige head. The descrpition is bang on about the malt - some great blended malt presence with caramels, chocolates, figs and other fruits. Gentle bitterness on the finish leaves you wanting more. Very nice indeed.

Nice sour apple aroma with some other slight fruitness. Appearance is mostly black, but with a red tint; head quickly went away. Flavor is full of toffee and some caramel flavors. Some small chocolate presence in the finish. Good, but 4.1 might be a bit too high for this brew.

Roasted and creamy with a nice creamy texture. More IPA-like than I was expecting. Smoky coffee and fruity flavors make this an extremely interesting, and fantastic beer.

Only two bottles available in the store! Dark brown pour into thin foamy tan head that dissipates quickly. Sticky lacing that melts around the rim of the glass hangs on throughout. Aroma of dark roasted malt and smoky citrus with a lingering hoppiness. Initial flavor of full-bodied roasted chocolate malt fading into a lingering creamy mouthfeel. Finish is a dry, almost oily smoky finish.

Pours a dark amber with a short lived brown head. Nice malt and dark fruit flavors both in the nose and flavor. A very nice doppelbock.

Pours a dark-red black with a medium-sized brown head. Strong aroma of burnt roasted malts, brown sugar and a very faint whiff of hops. Taste is burnt, slightly smoky and bitter-sweet. Light hop bitterness, black coffee, plums and raisins and bitter chocolate. Highly drinkable, goes down very easy. Slightly creamy texture, alcohol not noticeable. A complex and well-balanced not-too-sweet doppelbock.Plus you get a neat little plastic bock with every bottle.

Bottle from jessup plaza. Poured a deep red color with a nice big light brown head that lasted awhile. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, dates, figs, and some caramel. Taste is quite nice, very light on the palate with some chocolate notes, roasted malt, with a nice chocolate/coffee after taste. Very complex and good.
