Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Dark pour with a red hue. Huge coffee notes, caramel and roasted malt very tasty.

Excellent stuff. Pours a reddish chocolate color with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Taste is malty, bread, sweet and finishes dry. Plus you get a cool plastic horse with the bottle. EDIT: And by horse I mean ram.

i can’t imagine what they could possibly do to improve this beer. every time i haven’t had one for a while, i think i’ll be dissappointed only to be blown away again. pours a deep ruby brown, thick tanhead. smells and tasted like liquid bread, sweet, full, incredibly smooth with a slight bite. Possibly the best beer ever!

Dark Mahogany Colour Pour, with a small tan head. Smells of dark sweet malt, a little caramel-y. Maybe some kind of dark fruit as well. kinda spicy smelling. pick up alcohol. Wonderfully smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Taste is divine! Get a sweet taste, but not overly sweet, molasses flavor. Pick up some hops in the to keep it all in balance. Admittedly i havent tried all that many double bocks, but this is by far my favorite! This is one really nice brew! absolutely somewhere at the top of my list for favorite all time beer.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Nice aroma of sweet malt, little smoke, and toffee. Heavy malt flavor. Well done though.

Bottle. I see a lot of folks saying this pours reddish, well there was nothing near a reddish hue in this pour. It was a very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma was sweet malts with hints of coffee and toffee. Big mouthfeel, full body. Big malty flavor, dry slightly bitter finish, just a touch of hops. If you are a malty beer lover, this is one for the books.

My first doppelbock. Almost caramel-candy like in its taste, became a bit too much for me near the end of the drink. Otherwise a good try, glad to finally do so.

12oz bottle. $4.45 Julio’s Liquors. Pours a nice dark brown with tan head. Godd lacing. Great tastes of caramel, malt, molasses. Really enjoyed this one.
