Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Bottle. A very dark brown, almost black, with a big creamy light brown head. Outstanding malty aroma with nutty roastiness, dark chocolate, caramel and some dark fruits. Flavor is sweet, earthy, rich, and malty with chocolate, some coffee, some roast. A caramelly sweet finish with mild notes of spicy hop bitterness and wood smoke that linger at the dry finish. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel ,Really great. A very complex malty treat that I would like to have again.

A- Pours a dark brown to black hue with garnet highlights, head is tan and frothy that is mostly diminishing, minimal lacing S- Very rich and complex aroma captures tones of dark fruit, roasty and caramel malts, some breads and hints of alcohol T- Initial taste is bread and caramel malts mixed with dark fruits, coffee and syrupy molasses, light smoke and pepper and a hint of bitter hops in the background, slight alcohol presence in the finish, wonderfully balanced with different levels of flavor as the drink progresses M- Medium-bodied beer, good carbonation, oily texture coats the mouth and tongue D- Smooth and rich doppelbock that is easy to drink at almost 7%abv, this is a well-known offering with a great reputation that is well-deserved, I would definitely pick this up again in the future

12 ounce bottle in tulip. Dark brown with fizzy head and lasting ring. I wonder how old this is. Toasted caramel woodsy portlike aroma. Taosted carmel brown sugar molasses sweetness with nie rounding bitterness in the finish. Medium body and medium carbo. Very nice doppelbock, though I’m not sure why this one is rated so much higher than others like Andechs and Maximator. I think I need to try to get a fresher bottle.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Blimey this is popular here. I wasn’t completely blown away by this though as I was hoping I would be. Indisputably its a fine example of the style, but it didn’t leave me craving another straight away and I left feeling a tad underwhelmed. Malt heavy, dark fruity aroma. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel with flavours of more malt, prunes, raisins, chocolate and a burntness..Probably one of the best German beers I’ve tried. I’ll leave it at that.

Extremely long lasting caramel flavor with roasted malts. One sip will last about five minutes, so take your time. This great warmth is counteracted by a slight cooling flavor, maybe grapes. The only improvements I can think of would be to slow down on the smokiness and darken the color somehow. Other than that, this is a great beer.

Dark brown nearly black color with a creamy head and ruby highlights. Aroma is strongly toasty maltiness. Taste of rich roasted maltiness is complimented nicely with a slight hoppiness in the back of the throat.

Overall I would have to say this was a great beer. It had a nice mix of coffee and fruity flavors.
