Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours dark brown opaque and nice frothy cream head. Aroma of strong caramel dried fruits, light coffee. Creamy, and warming but not in the same sense as a stout. Some dark chocolates and some type of yeasty freshness. Lingering flavors. Great beer.

Wanted to try this one for a long time. Theres a good nose of roasted, malt, fruit, caramel and some coffee. The subtleties come out as it warms a bit, but I find it hard to let it sit. has a good flavor of malt and an ashy smokey slightly bitter note. Some hops and caramel present. Finishes fairly crisp and a little dry. Hides the alcohol well.

Bottle. Near black with a beige head. Aromas are dark chocolate and coffee with earthy notes. Smoky with winter fruit. Flavours are molasses with chocolate and coffee. Nutty and hoppy with a dry peppery finish. Good.

Despite all the fanfare, I did not think this one was really slap-your-grandma good (yeah, I got that from "Honkytonk Badonkadonk"). Appearance is great: dark brown with a tan head that lingers longer than for most lagers. It is a fairly complex beer, with caramel, chocolate, fruits, and such, and while it is better than anything you will get at 99% of bars, I do not think it is quite one of the best in the world.

Pours cola brown with a 2 fingercreamy mocha head that has good retention. Aroma has a lot of malt, yeah, lots of malt. Toast, roast, dried, fruit, burnt sugar, caramel, cane juice, and maybe a hint of grassy hops. Flavor is once again huge on rich, yummy malt. Plenty of grain, and caramel, leading to roast, molasses, a hint of toast, lots of sweet pitted fruit, some coffee and nice burnt toffee. Hop notes are minimal but very well done, mostly of the herbal and floral notes, a little grass, and they provide just enough spice to balance the intesnse malt out to be delicious, definitely a good beer to serve cool and let warma bit to let the flavor mature. Body is thick but not too sticky and sweet but not cloying. This is the absolutely perfect beer for this cold winter evening. Absolutely a great beer all around.

Attacks your nose with a wonderful aroma of roasted malt and toffee. Bold and balanced, perfect sweetness to bitterness ratio.

Great looking pour as a clear, dark brown with a big tan head. Aroma of raisins, dark fruit, roasted malt, some alcohol. Taste is top notch, with the roasted malt, brown sugar, and overripe fruit competing with the nice balance of hops and raisins. Absolutely fantastic beer that I enjoy every time. The bottle itself is worth the money. And you get to keep the little sheep necklace.

Bottle. Poured almost black with a thick lasting head. Aroma of malt, caramel, coffee and toffee. Rich full malt flavour, with coffee and chocolate notes. Lasting finish, malt, a bit of hop. Stronger than it tastes
