Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

This is as good as it gets for a beer that is as drinkable as this. Usually stuff this good must be savored, but this goes down easy. Very carmelly, both in smell and taste. Not much hops, they are mostly hidden under a malty mountain. Perfect for absolutly any situation from tailgates to desserts.

Pours deep ruby red with a foamy, quickly dissipating head. (To be fair, I was using the wrong glassware.) The aroma is an amazing blend of burnt sugar, roasted malt, tobacco, and figs. Flavor was dominated by sweet maltiness with a surprising hop finish. Unbelievably rich beer worthy of the accolades, but definitely not my idea of an everyday brew.

33cl bottle from Total Wine (Tampa). Rated on 3/24/08. Pours very dark brown to almost black in color, with one finger tan head. Good head retention. Smell: rich malt aroma, strong sweetness, lots of wheat, straw and barley notes. Maybe some ripe fruit as well. Taste is a velvety chocolate with strong malt notes and a slightly bitter, lingering coffee finish.

Bottle: pours a dark brown with a thin tan head, sweet aroma of malt, taste of dark fruits, malt, toffee, a little bitter. Certainly one of the best German beers available.

pours a Deep red with a bountiful off white head. overwhelming sticky malty aromas permeated by darkfruits - raisins and sweet dates. my taste buds tingled with the malt assualt upon first sip. once they adjusted, roasty flavors and very slight hops made their way through. dark sugars, molasses and dates give it a rich sweetness that blends well with the maltiness. Fantastic, Everything a bock lover could hope for

Amber pour with a moderate head. Great malty darkfruit aroma. Flavor has a wonderful sweetness offset nicely with just a little bitterness. Fantastic beer.

This beer really knocked me on my can! Drank it in the bottle first, but then found it on tap in Germany. Great head, strong malty taste, and you can really taste the hops. This is my idea of a dessert beer
