Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

On tap at Ayingers Speis und Trank in Munich.
Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized beige head, slight alcoholic and burnt sugar nose. Sweet malty, slight roasted coffee and chocolate aroma with notes of dried fruits. Mild spicy and alcohol notes in the finish. Served a little bit too hot but undoubtedly great brew.

Pours a near black with a short tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of molasses brown sugar and toffee. Flavor includes coffee, chocolate and a hint of prune, with a very welcome sweetness from the malts. With a medium heavy palate, you might only drink a second one on a cold day. For those that like it a little on the sweet side, this is a wonderful beer.

Pours a cola colored brown with a thick foamy head which goes away quickly. Not much carbonation visible, or maybe it’s just hidden in the darkness. Nice, sweet, rich malty aroma, not much going on in the hops department (sorry hopheads). Taste is initial sweet maltiness, with a little dark fruit in the background. The finish is dry, spicy, and a little bit smoky. Overall, a smooth, complex & very tasty brew that lives up to all it’s accolades!

Pours almost black with some red when held up to the light. Aroma: Alcohol, Coffee, Chocolate. Mouthfeel is excellent, rich and frothy. Goes down so nice and smooth. I’m getting a lot of coffee and an alcohol flavor that isn’t that strong and what I would expect from a doppelbock. What a good balance of flavors. I’m glad I was "forced" to buy four of these.

Bottle 33cl. Nice dark-brown, mahagony colour. Overwhelming impression of toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, roasted grains. Plays in the same league with Andechser Doppelbock. Perhaps a little bit better. A must-have for every Doppelbock-maniac!

Bottle pours a rich coffee-like dark brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma of rich malts, dark chocolate, spices, and brown sugar. Sweet flavor of dried fruits, roasted coffee with a subtle hint of bitterness in the finish.

Celebrator definitely lives up to the hype-the best dopplebock i’ve had. Pours a deep brown with an effusive, tan head. Very complex with dark chocolates and malts running throughout. The alcohol comes through a bit, so I don’t think I could drink more than one at a sitting.
