Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

33cl bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with big and persistent beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, alcohol, coffee, caramel. Flavor is roasted malt, dried fruits, alcohol and a bit of coffee. Full-bodied with medium carbonation. Soft finish with some bitterness. My first doppelbock was an amazing experience!

This beer pours a nice dark brown with a frothy light tan head that remains. Aroma is molasses and roast malt, also plum and raisin with a milkyness. Flavor is deep roast with a light sweetness, almost tastes smoked. Nice body with smooth carbonation. Finishes with a pleasant lingering roast and is perfectly balanced.

Malty malty malty! That’s the word for the aroma and more. Notes of molasses, chocolate, nuts, & faint traces of fruits. Lovely DARK brown color with compact light tan head. Wonderful malty, lightly roasted, chocolate, and nut flavors with again a hint of dark fruits. Finishes dry for such a malty bier, very drinkable. Perfectly bittered for balance. Wonderful viscosity, not too thick or thin, again aids in the drinkability. Overall an enjoyable bier, easy to see why it’s the top rated Doppelbock. Very drinkable, reminiscent of a good scotch ale without the smokey notes.

Poured nice brown and nice cream colored head, smelled of chocolate and dark fruit with a roasted complex note. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, with a little hop backing that was rich and velvety on the tongue. Overall an excellent doppelbock ruined a bit by the alcohol taste.

Bottle. Poured a rich dark brown with a light tan foamy head which diminished quickly but stayed slightly throughout. The aroma was that of roasted molasses and chococolate malts. The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth with a mild carbonation. It tasted sweet and slightly bitter and finisheed nicely with the flavor of the chocolate malts lingering slighty. Overall a great brew.

Bottle. Pours red-brown with a cramy white head. Smells raisin and chocolate. Creamy taste of vanilla, dark chocolate and coffee. Chocolate in aftertaste. Small fruitiness. This was almost a little bit too enjoyable...

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet, juicy, liquor like malt, dark fruits (mostly prunes), with some light hoppy notes in the background. Flavor is very reach, sweet malt and dark fruits with floral hops in the long finish. Simply Great!
