Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

330 ML bottle in USA, I had to come all the way to the US to try this but I understand not why it is the best rated Germany beer. A great one but it does not belong in the number one position. Great black brown color with a very deep dark brown head. Strong malt aroma that hides but is good. Very smooth. A great DoppleBock.

Bottle served in a dimpled mug. Dense dark brown in color with 1/3 of the mug billowing with a beautiful tan froth, as depicted on the bottle art. Caramel malt, prunes, bread, and a slight woody aroma. Terrific nose. Decent carbonation followed closely by a roasty, creamy texture. Medium body. Long, roasty, oily finish. Rich, complex, and complete. There isn’t a better Doppel.

Pours deep brown with a tall light brown head. Looks fucking epic.Has a sweet malty aroma with notes of dark fruits and bread. Flavour is rich and malty with notes of bread, plumbs, very full flavoured. Excellent palate from bigging to end, hand down the best lager I have EVER had. Just plain wicked.

Great bottle design for this classic beer. Pours a rusty ruby red. Dark cherries, bourbon, slight smoke, licorice, bacon...wonderful flavour highlights. This beer is smooth, rounded and complex with a semisweet syrupy finish. One of the best.

The true question here is if it gets an extra appearance point for the freaking awesome goat hangin on the bottle? This has to be within the top ten beers I can’t believe I haven’t rated yet. Well I found one chillin out in my fridge and it’s time has come. Pours with a big full head, fizzy but lasting. The color is a deep brownish amber. Aroma is nutty with some sweet malt character and some coffee, not too sweet though fairly well balanced. Flavor is basically perfect for the style, very rich, nutty, balanced but on the sweeter side, brown sugar, some mild noble hops, some very clear raisin and dark fruit notes, some molasses and coffee. Complex and delicious.

Bottle thanks to HogTownHarry. Dark brown with a creamy head and some lacing. Very sweet with prominent caramel and brown sugar in the both the nose and flavour. The alcohol wasn’t hidden too well, but it certainly did not offend. Touch of spice in the finish. Altogether a great beer.

33cl bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with big and persistent beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, alcohol, coffee, caramel. Flavor is roasted malt, dried fruits, alcohol and a bit of coffee. Full-bodied with medium carbonation. Soft finish with some bitterness. My first doppelbock was an amazing experience!
