Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a murky dark ruby-brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, some hops, spices and dark fruit. Flavour follows the aroma -- starts malty and ends bitter. I found the body a little too thin and the flavour a little unbalanced. It’s rated too high in my opinion but it’s still a really good beer.

Bottle. Pours dark brown and clear with a medium sized, light tan head, persistent with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (toffee) with sherry-like notes of plum and grape. Low earthy hop notes. Melanoidin rich aroma. Flavor is a strong malt with fruit notes (plum, prune, dates) and a light, spicy hop finish. Some alcohol is present but not harsh. Very clean lager character. Medium-full body with a clean creaminess. Carbonation is medium-low.

Pours a dark, rich brown with a foamy, creamy tan head. The slight aroma of cocoa and slight coffee with a hint of hop bitterness. Wonderful taste of instant coffee along with a milk chocolate and smokiness. Very pleasant and creamy on the palate. Finishes dry with a slight bittersweet aftertaste. Wonderful beer.

Rich, pipe-tobacco like aroma leaning towards over-ripe fruit - not overly pleasant - but not bad. Tight, white, thinly lacing head. Fresh brewed coffee-like color - strong - like Starbucks. Complex flavor - different every sip - hard to describe. Little bit of raisins, a lot of malt, tad bit of alcohol seeping though - but does not overpower. Not for the weak of heart - and not meant for multiple consumption. Thanks out to Aurelius for supplying me with this classic.
