Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Dark and mysterious with a ruby-red hue. Dark fruit nose is complex, also very evident in the flavor. Rich, bold, and very flavorful. Alcohol is virtually undetectable, obscured by it's smooth body. Great level of carbonation. Huge, sweet and roasty malts. Lasting, chewy flavors with a rich hoppiness.

12-oz. What’s left to say about this beer after 1100+ ratings? I’ll see whether I have any nuggets of wisdom to add. Huge moussy, almost fluffy tan head on top of a churning, swirling mahogany-colored mass of thick body and flailing bubbles--just a gorgeous pour. Big malty nose, acres of lace, thick notes of nut and caramel. Complex body that’s mostly dark malts but bears up some flashes of herbal hop, nut, caramel, dark fruit, and, alas, some metallic sour on the finish. Amazing stuff, the finish notwithstanding.

FINALLY! My last few ratings have been in the gutter, so I needed a beer to soothe my soul-- this was the right stuff!! Rich deep red-brown with an admirable tan head. The aromas are intoxicating-- milk chocolate, butter toffee, and something earthy. Huge flavours of cocoa, toasted raisinbread, caramel, and shortbread. Sweet but well balanced with a rounded finish. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel. this was a fantastic beer that I could drink all night. I’m sooo glad I bought a 4-pack instead of only one!

Deep deep red to black color with light brown head. Aroma is all malts with just a hint of alcohol. I smell caramel, toffee, maybe even coffee and I think chocolate. The taste is all malt too just as it smells. I didn’t detect any hops really. I even sense a bit of a smoked malt presence. A really tasty beer.

A very beautiful beer. A dark, rich pour, with a porter like head, white, with hints of brown seeping through. Long lasting full bodied flavor with a full feel in the mouth. Chewy flavor, with plums, figs and raisins, very spicy and smokey, with a bit of a bite in the aftertaste. Highly recommended.

Bottle from Arden Wines. Cappuccino piled on mahogany, ruby glints. Sticky Xmas pud aroma with fig, prune, chocolate, resiny hopcone, vanilla, cask wood, lactic hints, locust bean, liquorice. Mouth takes on an extra dimension of dark bittersweet prune , liquorice, yeast extract and malt loaf fruitiness balanced out with drying burnt and bitter hop notes. Fat but unsticky and impressively dry. Sweet-BITTER. Thick like milk and gently warming. Hints of smoke, tobacco and chocolate after the swallow. Not sure I could session this by the litre. Big, rich, serious beer. With a plastic goat dangling from the neck. Respect.

I wouldn’t call this my absolute favorite, but its quality is unmistakeable. Attractive appearance with an interesting cascade-type effect. Aroma is smokey, chocolatey, molassas, vinous; in the tasting there is plenty going on, but the bitterness shows out without excessive sweetness. Well balanced. Went a bit flat for me, but I didn’t want to drink it any faster than I did. A beer to appreciate.
