Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours a clear reddish brown with a lacy tan head. Full, syrupy body with fine carbonation. Taste of prunes, roasty malt, and a hint of smoke, like a really sweet sherry. Relatively quick, bitter finish.

Poured deep darkest ruby red, beautiful hue when held to light. Lasting beige head. Nice nose of raisins, caramel fudge, cocoa along with some light fresh grainy notes. Flavour is a similar blend of the above, though more focused on the chocolate malt flavours. Some roast notes too, but never overpowering. Wonderfully sticky full mouthfeel. Very tasty sipping bock.

6/11/02: Black/tan head...slight roasted nut aroma, good nutty flavor, burnt nut flavor with alcohol overtones, good but nothing spectacular
Re-Rate 9/24/02: burnt sugar snow storms w/ nut encrusted berries..bitter like peanut skins..better than good..maybe a tad short from spectacular..

In my opinion, this is the best all around dopple bock brewed today. Pours an amberish orange color. Nose of caramel and assorted coffee malts. Love it!!!

Excellent. Apperance and flavor are close to a sweet stout. Very smooth and easy to drink. Well worth the extra cost. A must try

Bottle: Dark brown pour, with a quickly dissapating light tan head. Aroma, toffee, roasted notes, dark fruits. Flavor, prunes and other dark fruits, some floral hops, roasty and dry on the finish. Deliciously smooth. Medium bodied. I’ve only ever had this at a bar before, but with a chance to think on it, this beer really shines.
