Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

6/11/02: Black/tan head...slight roasted nut aroma, good nutty flavor, burnt nut flavor with alcohol overtones, good but nothing spectacular
Re-Rate 9/24/02: burnt sugar snow storms w/ nut encrusted berries..bitter like peanut skins..better than good..maybe a tad short from spectacular..

Excellent. Apperance and flavor are close to a sweet stout. Very smooth and easy to drink. Well worth the extra cost. A must try

In my opinion, this is the best all around dopple bock brewed today. Pours an amberish orange color. Nose of caramel and assorted coffee malts. Love it!!!

dark brown with some ruby highlights. Aroma is nuts and chocolate, with some sweet malt, dark fruit and alcohol working its way in there. Taste is nice and chocolately, roast, with a light amount of alcohol and hints of smoke in it’s well balanced finish. the body is medium on this beer. excellent doppelbock.

Bottle-If you get this stuff fresh, its probably the best malt-based beer out there! Super Sweet aroma-spice, banana, brown sugar, chocolate. Deep brown with small carbonation, looks like a nirto pull. Lots of malt in the flavor-chocolate, carmel and dark malts comprise a very complex profile. Finish is somewhat dry with some coffee notes-very sweet! Very deep and dark malty chocolate finish. Good aftertaste that makes you want more.

11.2 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with Douglas88. Pours a clear dark brown with a moderate, almost creamy off-white head that lasted through most of the glass. Very pleasant aroma of malt and molasses. The flavor is again malt and molasses with just a little bit of prunes as well. Some slight warming from the alcohol at the finish enhances the experience. Really good stuff. Thanks Doug!
