Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours dark brown/black with reddish tint. Thick creamy tan head, that recedes to light cover. Nice lacing. Aroma is dark fruit, molases, toffee, chocolate and a touch of cookie dough. Flavor is malty and fruity delight. Plums, raisins, molases, bitter chocolate, a touch of hops, some roastedness comes at the end. Finish is longish and dry, with a bit of warming alcohol. Texture is smooth and creamy.

Tap. Definately good. Deep black opaque. Malty aroma with roasted grain and coffee notes. Taste is malty, roasted grains and a suprisingly hoppy finish. Very good.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Sweet and malty nose with notes of caramel, fruit, and fresh bread. Medium full body. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee and fresh bread with some earthy notes and a bit of sweet caramel right up front. Long sweet and dry finish. One of my favorite beers. (My 100th rating!)

330 ml Bottle. Dard brown with a slight ruby hue. Tan bubbling head. Raisins and port upon initial sniff. Subsequent sniffs provided little else. Roasted coffee flavors linger, along with a faint hop flavor. And yes, a slight smokiness. Medium to full bodied yet smooth and not too overpowering. A great alcohol warmth and residual sugar sweetness.Grat mouthfeel that leads from a malty, sweet, plum flavor into dry, bitter, chocolate finish. Wonderful brew! Ayinger is a great brewery and have yet to be disappointed.

33 cl bottle, bought at Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. Dark brown color, nice tan head. Aroma is dried fruit and roasted malt. Flavor is the same, with bitterness in the finish. Very nice, but a bit watery finish.

Very worthy of its rating on this site. One of the most full bodied beers I’ve ever had. Huge malty body fills the mouth. The abundance of fruity flavors was great. I had this with some home canned pears and it was awesome. I am also impressed because this has such a low alcohol compared to other top 50 beers. This shows that good beer doesn’t have to be high alc (but I love high % too). World class beverage.

scura buona schima decisamente tostata ma non eccessivamente secca in finale quasi affumicata

Delicious! It reminded me of drinking a chocolate cream pie; it had a great creamy mouthful with a sweet (but not overly so) flavor.
