Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours a three finger light brown head that fades quickly no lace. Almost black color. Light carbonation and heavy bodied. Molasses nose. Starts with a sweet molasses flavor, hints of roasted coffee in finish. Great double bock. $2.45 for a 11.2oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Sweet and malty nose with notes of caramel, fruit, and fresh bread. Medium full body. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee and fresh bread with some earthy notes and a bit of sweet caramel right up front. Long sweet and dry finish. One of my favorite beers. (My 100th rating!)

Bottle. Pour is deep brown with a nice ruby twinge to it. Nice fluffy khaki head. Aroma is malty, chocolaty and a nice roast smell. Taste is creamy, with a nice chocolate sweetness to it. The body is wonderful, big without being overpowering. Finish has a nice clean dryness to it. Overall, a very nice beer.

Full, light brown head. Dark brown chestnut color, some light gets through showing dark red highlights. Massive nose of malt, fresh baked bread, grain and some fruitiness. Med/full body, DUH! Medium sweet, not like alot of sickningly sweet bocks. Malty, creamy, luxurious mouthfeel, nice. Black licorice, Slight coffee notes. Pleasent dry roasty finish. A real complex tasting brew. Wonder how it would age? Hmmmmm.

Dark reddish-brown with medium head. Aroma is very roasty with sweet caramel/nut essence. Taste is very full bodied with roasted dark malts. Bits of dark fruit and some hop tingle detectable. Overall, a pretty damn good D-bock.

Bottle. Poured a ruby read with a medium but attractive tan head and good lacing. Nose is fantastic, with fruits, citrus, and chocolate, and just a little coffee. Very smooth mouthfeel and a flavor of chocolate, coffee, and toast. But not burnt toast. A remarkable brew. Slightly dry finish with a nice touch of hops. Best dopplebock ever for me.
