Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

[Rerate 3/25/08] Pours deep murky brown with a small fine film of head. Intoxicating chocolate, sweet raisin aroma. Delicious chocolate, very sweet raisin and dark fruit flavors, but mostly raisin. A little bit woody, but the flavors are somewhat light, as is the body/palate. Nice velvety carbonation though, and not incredibly sticky compared to other doppelbocks. An excellent easy drinking doppelbock, but I prefer those with more substance to match the rich flavor.

12 oz bottle. Perfect pour, dark brown with slight deep red highlights and a huge dense creamy light beige head. Aroma has a slight mustiness about it that contains dark fruit, figs, raisins, and caramel. Thick bodied yet velvety smooth. Big roasty flavor that lingers nicely long after you put the glass down. One smooth beer.

Quite dark and thick. Had a smooth taste while still retaining the kick of a doppel.

Dark brown nearly black color with a creamy head and ruby highlights. Aroma is strongly toasty maltiness. Taste of rich roasted maltiness is complimented nicely with a slight hoppiness in the back of the throat.

Delicious. Dark dark brown with a hint of red in the color. Head is a very smooth creamy white. Aroma is huge. Smells like smoked and salted meat . Sweet and Complex flavor. Smokey, huge malt, some sourness, some saltyness. Rich and super smooth. with no lasting after taste. A little sweetness. Amazingly easy to drink and immensely enjoyable. This is world class.

The "king" of bock beers. Big malt aroma. You can smell the roasty, conditioned malt. Big mouth feel and flavor. This beer just fills up your mouth! Deep, rich, brown, color that even looks inviting. You would hardly even notice that the beer is not strong enough to be in the doppelbock catagory.

Big malty fruity aroma. Dark body with lots of red highlights and almost no head. Flavor is delicious. Dark fruit, sweet roasted malt, coffee, alcohol, a dry roasted bitterness. The feel is silky. Just a wonderful beer! As good a Doppelbock as I have had.

Super thick glowing dark brown color with deep red ruby highlights, light brown head of tight frothyness thats about a finger high, faded fast, gets some minimal spotty and stringy lace. Smell is tangy fruitish dark malts, quite a rich full nose with hints of ginger, brown sugar, favorable cookie dough, lightly roasty/toasty, some toffee, with dark fruit of plum and raisin notes. Taste is a ton of nice tangy dark malts, a bit of caramel and toffee up front, middle twinge of chocolate and slight hops into the finish which is mostly dark fruits and toffee with incredible lingering qualities of twingy, fruity malty tanged dryness. Feel is medium bodied, buttery smooth and lightly textured with a light tangy dryness in the finish. Very nice drinkablity, heavenly smooth and excellent creamyness makes for short work of the 12 ounces, need another.
