Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Huge creamy light brown head... almost total black body... slight red hue comes through. I pick up good amounts of fruit in the aroma, but its a bit light in strength. Apple, peach, concord grape. A bit toasty also. Tastes of burnt oak, cherry, blueberry, maple, molasses. Very sweet, but not overly or fake sweet. Slight burnt bitter finish. Fairly thick and creamy. I really enjoyed this beer.

An absolutely awesome beer. Let’s start with an impressively thick, lacy, tan head. Next comes the smell: toffee, caramel, hints of sweetness that let you know you’re in for a good beer. The taste is wonderful - almost candylike. Something of a buttery maltiness compliments the sweetness as it goes down smoothly. You can feel it on the sides of your tongue for a while after drinking - it leaves you wanting more. This is what I’ll be drinking when I’m not having a Belgian or a stout. Easily the best lager of any kind I’ve ever had, and it ranks right up there with my favorites from other categories. Oh, and the little goat thingy (thanks ecrvich) that you get with the bottle is kind of cool, maybe I’ll start a collection or use them as Monopoly pieces or something.

very dark, but slight garnet color held up to the light...caramelly malty sweet aroma. flavor is sweet with a touch of vinegar sourness in the middle fading into a sweet finish...while this is certainly a very good doppelbock, i think it’s a bit overrated.

Aroma is sweet with a roasted oatmeal scent. Color is a deep dark maroon with good carbonation and tight tan head. Taste is rich and creamy. It starts with a creamy medium body that goes down with a fizzy feel. Finish starts with a mellow sweet roasted malt flavor that has tones of caramel and dates then a very gentle bitterness. After taste is a dried fruit taste with a faint smokiness. This is an amazing complex brew. Had this beer years ago and do not remember it being so good.

poured a very nice dark brown, an inch layer of light tannish head, caramely and malty nose, lightly carbonated and exhibits characteristics of a good porter...medium level of carbonation...goes down well.

Nice freaking beer. Foamy off white head and a rich dark brown body color. Super smooth to drink and tastes like a more refreshing stout. Smoky finish is very easy to spot and the alcohol content is well hidden. A truly great beer.

Crushed with TheDude. He said it would change my perspective and Doppelbocks. He was right. Deep Dark brown pour. Malty, fruity aroma. Delicious, roasty, caramel, slightly bitter hops. Big thick mouthfeel. Thanks Dude, this was totally awesome.

Nice dark look with a good sized head. Has a strong aroma of roasted almonds and toffee. Dry and sweet.
