Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Beutiful dark brown with a tasty light brown head. Standard doppelbock aroma: coffee, chocolate, dark fruit, earth. A very good flavour. Even though it’s not as strong and powerful as many other doppelbocks, it has a rather smooth and velvety mouthfeel, but the dark flavours are not lacking. Some interesting smokyness in the finish. A fine brew.

A bitter molasses tree ramifies into prodigious licorice and caramel branches...Delectable sweet honey oozes from its burgundy trunk as some little jubilating white flowers spread a vanilla perfume...An earthy toffee excellence harbingers sweet, clinging vanilla and syrupy nut bread...Indubitable cookies holding on to fully ripe bananas...This is so rich for its size, it boggles the mind...

Pours a dark brown with a small head. Strong hints of chocolate, caramel and a nutty aftertaste. Finishes as well as it starts. Looks oily in the glass. This is by far the best dopplebock I’ve had to date.

Bottle (330ml): Deep amber to mahagony coloured, rather quickly diminishing medium-sized fluffy off-white head; nutty, caramelly nose with a touch of roasted malt and a tinge of molasses with some dark fruit in the background; (malty-)bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; dry fruity (with a touch of canterelles) finish with lingering coffeeish-bitter aftertaste. A very pleasant, because unusually dry, and well balanced Doppelbock..........

Has a dark ruby colour, with a good head. The aroma is magnificent. Never smelled something as good. Coffee, fruits (plums), spices, alcahol, it"s all there. The flavour is not as great but still it"s way beoynd most other beers. Again some coffee/caramel, fruits (apples) and spices. Very wellbalanced beer. In the aftertaste there is a pleasant smoothe bitterness. Absolute a great beer.

Bottle. Deep brown ruby tinted beer, with a thick lasting tan head. Very good looking beer. Aroma of rich dark fruits, cherries, plums, toffee and toasted malts are perfectly balanced. Flavour is similar, sweet caramel up front leading into a fruit-accented middle before a long, warming, and toasty finish wraps it all up. Very tasty.

Slightly less than dark black. Brown head. Stuffy and musty stale roasted wood aroma. Thick murky burnt campfire smoke and bourbon are the most prominent flavors.

(33cl bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet, roast-malty aroma with caramel, coffee and liquorice. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a smooth carbonation and mellow mouthfeel. Chewy malty, bready and moderately roasted taste with a complex spectrum of flavours (caramel, toffee, liquorice, coffee); almost dry, malty and slightly bitter finish with a lasting aftertaste. Very good, not too fat, not too sweet, well-balanced and complex Doppeelbock.
