Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

This one rates in the "classic" pages in my book. They have the history and knowledge to do it right and they do. Please sir, may I have another?

Deep and red in color with a thin tan head. Appealing aroma of caramel, dark fruit, a bit of cocoa and alcohol. Good body and a quick finish with a lingering bitterness. Definite "smokey dryness" . The subtle flavors are of burnt raisen, malt, chocolate, leather. It has a bit of tartness also. Good, but somehwhat over rated IMO.

Traded bottle. I am not the biggest fan of doppelbocks but I enjoyed this one. Typically the style seems dominated by molassas notes and flavours. As this warmed up, the molassas gave way to caramel malts, rich chocolates and some smokiness. Very enjoyable and oddly easy drinking.

Very, very nice. A thick black color with a nice creamy head. So many flavors that my tastebuds were about to explode. A great beer, but at $5+ a bottle, it’s one I can’t have very often.

Bottle... Poured a pretty murky, dark brown (almost stout or porter like) with a light brown head. Sort of a sourness on the nose. Beer had flavors of chocolate, barley-malt, with a dash of hops for some kick. Overall pretty robust and complex but very drinkable. That’s what I love about this style. I had it with some fresh blueberries and they made a great pair.

Dark brown, with a light brown head. Aromas are sweet malt, raisins, dark fruit, and molasses. Flavor is much like the aroma, with raisins and molasses leading the way. Creamy mouthfeel, with a medium to heavy body. Thanks to JohnnyFlake for this bottle.

Very dark amber with a big tan head. Caramel malt aroma. Sweet malt, caramel, and nutty flavors. Sweet syrupy finish.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown color. Very malty and has a chocolately flavor. Hoppy as well. I have to say that this is a fantastic beer and I could drink this every single day of my life if this was the only beer I could drink.
