Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown color. Very malty and has a chocolately flavor. Hoppy as well. I have to say that this is a fantastic beer and I could drink this every single day of my life if this was the only beer I could drink.

Wow!!! Obviously the standard by which all doppelbocks will be measured. What a delight to smell. Dominant aroma is malt in many layer with many interpretations. Included are bread, molasses, coffee, and alcohol, oh and dont forget the roasted nuts. Beer pours up beautiful creamy light brown head which is partially retained. There is some light lacing. Color of beer is ruby-brown. Flavor is wonderful and complex. Layer after layer of sweet malt and just a touch of chewiness. This is an experience worth repeating over and over.

Traded bottle. I am not the biggest fan of doppelbocks but I enjoyed this one. Typically the style seems dominated by molassas notes and flavours. As this warmed up, the molassas gave way to caramel malts, rich chocolates and some smokiness. Very enjoyable and oddly easy drinking.

Warm toffee notes, poured a respectable head, slightly tinted brown. Strong full bodied flavor, intense roast, yet some spice and raisin that I wasn’t expecting. Superb.

Aroma of malts and brown sugar maybe. Dark Brown and cloudy. Tastes of roasted malts with balancing hops. Thick but not cloying palate.

Deep brown appearance with a dense head. Lethal aroma of chocolate, caramel and a hint of spice. Full bodied smooth, toasted malt, semi-sweet taste with fruity, floral finish. Overall, the best of the doppelbocks.

Bottled. Opaque, walnut stained oak colored pour with a creamy, beige head that quickly recedes to a lightly roasted ring with a thin, marshmellow island in the middle. Ruby red tinge. Delicious aroma instantly overtakes my senses. Strong, wafting, candy aroma of cherry licorice; I’m totally reminded of the cherry Nibs I used to eat while attending MTU hockey games. A hint of cheddar cheese is in there as well. Texture is a touch thin, but exquisite flavors make up for what the mouthfeel lacks. Slightly creamy, smoky maltiness that includes some allusions to hot cocoa with a whipped cream topping. Final smack of fudge brownie and english toffee.
