Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Slightly less than dark black. Brown head. Stuffy and musty stale roasted wood aroma. Thick murky burnt campfire smoke and bourbon are the most prominent flavors.

A very creamy, near black body with a soapy tan head, this is a rich, complex brew. The smell is of sweet, roasted malts, dark fruits, and subtle spices. Thick mouthfeel. It’s a bit too sweet for me, but it’s tart, smoky finish makes up for that.

Rich, thick and chewey. Serve in a snifter to really bring out the aroma of the hops, malt and alcohol. A spicy dry, dark fruit finish.

Strong aroma, roasted, butterscotch, malty and a little yeasty. Dark brown, light brown almost creamy head, good lace. Strong flavors as well, butterscotch, very sweet, soft, little sugary (what a pity). Long lasting finish, first sweet, then roasted and bitter.

The best doppelbock I’ve had yet. Full of flavors and aroma. I find something new in every bottle. There’s a slight bitter molassas taste as well that doesn’t appeal to me that well, but is barely noticable. I am a stout man after all. Oh yeah, I love the goat! Have it on my keychain.

Bottle. Huge creamy light brown head that last the complete brew. Aroma of heavy malt, caramel and nutty. Full creamy body. Flavor was moderate sweet with a fruity long finish. Very good brew.

Bottled brought back from France never seen by me in UK. A fascinating aroma of fruit cake, petrol and alcohol. A very dark almost black beer with a fast diappearing tan coloured head. Wonderful taste with the oily alcohol and Christmas cake type spiciness coming through all in equal measures. Smells and tastes much stronger than it actually is. A very well brewed tasty beer.Score 4.5

Bottle. Near black with a beige head. Aromas are dark chocolate and coffee with earthy notes. Smoky with winter fruit. Flavours are molasses with chocolate and coffee. Nutty and hoppy with a dry peppery finish. Good.
