Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Pours a perfect dark color. Splendid aroma of roasted malt. Amazing blend of malt sweetness and hoppy flavors roll across your tongue and cover your palate with the full spectrum of flavors that you want in a quality beer. I had no idea that Ayinger’s Doppelbock was this highly rated until after I drank one. Will definitely buy again. Wonderful to experiment with food pairings.

Deep dark brown with a creamy, yet bubbly head. Nose is darkly roasted malts with subtle hints of caramel, cocoa, and dried fruits: mostly fig and prunes . Medium in body and smooth on the tongue with a clean finish. An excellent fall beer. Very close to perfect. Excellent bang for the buck.

WOW! Excellent aroma, very malty. Nice raisin/plumb finish. If affordable, I would have a keg in my fridge year round.

330 ml bottle. pours very dark brown with an off white head. Aroma is molasses, roasted malt with dark fruity tones. Flavor is well balanced combination of the roasted malts, nuts and sweet dried fruit. Very smooth beer with a sticky palate. The strong alcohol content is very well hidden beneath the balanced flavor. This is the best doppelbock bar none, and my favorite beer.

Quite possibly the greatest dopplebock I’ve gotten my hands on. Very strong, but smooth malty flavor. Very nice finish.

Fast head, black-red, sweet roast hop aroma. Complex roasted sweet malt taste. Clean, crisp finish. Almost PERFECT! Overall, I preferr ale’s but this is my favorite beer for that special occasion.
