Commercial Description:
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

This is my favorite Doppel. This thing pours like creek sludge. THICK. Smells wonderful. Instead of the usual soy of most doppel’s this one is more cloyingly sweet. Incredibly sweet. And in this instance cloying is good because it lingers. Nice head that dissipates slowly. I think this one has a lovely saaz hop backgroud that really distinguishes it from other Doppel’s. The malt also has an interesting burnt rubber quality to its nose that subtly carries over to its palate. Leaves me satisfied every time....if I didn’t just eat, like eating potato dumplings its so thick. G-rat

How much beer could I drink if I could drink beer all the time? Well, if it were this beer, I’d sure try to drink beer all the time. If I could. This is lovely. Sweet and malty without being cloying so. Sweet aroma.

Man those little goats are neat. So dark- black with amazing white head. Aroma really burned, roasty, no sweetness. Bitter, roasty, stout-like. I’m wondering where the sweetness is. It’s so subtle. Light and smooth, but meaty. Alcohol is hidden. As good as its reputation, probably because the doppel sweetness is subdued.

Pours a strikingly beautiful dark brown/mahogany with a thick light brown head. Aroma of smoke, caramel, dark fruits and a touch of alcohol. Taste is totally delicious. Sweet and full bodied with plenty of roated/toastedmalt, caramel, raisins, plums, hops, coffee, smoke and a hint of chocolate. Very complex. Mouthfeel is very full, round and creamy. Great lacing and head retention. Highly recommended.

One of the best dopplebocks out there. Dark amber-brown color with a tan head and good lacing. Palate is velvety smooth with a dark chocolate flavor. finish is dry and smokey. This is a great beer.

My first beer rate, so don't take me to seriously until I get this down pat. However I must say, I am extremly impressed with this beer. From the bottle, to the aroma, to the head and the taste. It was one of the best beers I've had. Yes my first rate, but not my first beer. I also have plenty if anyone is willing to trade ;-).

Finally, I have been lookin for a while but just couldnt find it for some reason. Bad timing I guess. Well, it is well worth the wait. Oh so smooth and delicious. Deep dark brown. Buttery malty aroma and taste. I love this beer. Such a great creamy mouthfeel. Definitly gotta get more of this.
